![]() Ok this is a long shot, but this forum seemed like a good place to ask.. To cut a long story very short I went on holiday to Rome with a complete tool in 2006, during which he was topping up water bottles from the FOUNTAINS (I don't mean drinking fountains, just to be clear- the likes of the Trevi and smaller, the kind likely to be filled with urine, vomit, pigeon excrement, you name it..) Not long after this I was diagnosed with 'CFS' and have since gone on to develop Crohn's disease. I am still having trouble shifting the weakness and fatigue, and the diarrhoea, despite treatment. It occurred to me that at some point I could have drank from his bottle, or he could have filled mine with filthy water. The NHS have been useless when it comes to testing, so I'm wondering.. What, if anything, might I have picked up from drinking this? I'm convinced something, possibly parasitic, remains untreated for my symptoms to be so persistent. What sort of things would you test for? |
