![]() I*am looking to identify specific bacterial metabolites that cause malodor and then measure those byproducts by GC or other analytical method.* But I am finding it difficult to find those specific by-products.* Most interested in by-products of Staph and E. coli.* We have looked at ammonia and Proteus, measuring with Drager columns, but I want something more sophisticated.* Any ideas? |

![]() Do some homework 1st. You're nt the 1st to have considered this.. For the E. coli - think skatole, indole, H2S. For staph consider volatile fatty acids. |
